ABOUT FUN

 

FUN began as an initiative to reach more people for Christ. It grew out of our AWANA ministry for children, which we had been running for 4 years. As a church, we became convicted of the need to strengthen families and do outreach to children and adults...FUN was developed with God's guidance.

 

Family Unity Nights intends to unite and strengthen biological families, to help parents and empower them to do their God-ordained duty of discipling their children. FUN is also for the Family of Christ (young and old, biologically related or not) to come together, learn together, and be united in Christ. But FUN is also a place for single parents and those without parents can come and belong to a family: God's family. At FUN, we're all family!

 

FUN follows the AWANA model in the 3 pronged approach: Bible memorization time, Bible lesson time, and game time. While a typical AWANA program focuses on children's ministry, our program focuses on everyone...children and adults...related or not.
